Application
Stainless steel up to 2 mm (1/16 inch), unalloyed steels up to 4 mm (3/16 inch), plastics, PVC, aluminium, zinc, gypsum and lightweight panels etc. can be processed economically.
For hand drills and pillar drills (no automatic feed in the case of pillar drills).

Execution

• The hole saw is manufactured from a single piece for diameters from 15.2 mm (3/16 inch) to 30.0 mm (1.1/8 inch)
• A special hardened holder is used for diameters from 31.0 mm (1.3/16 inch) to absorb torsional forces under heavy load and thus avoid premature shearing of the drive arbor
• Carbide-tipped
• Tapered centre drill bit with pre- and post-cutter, replaceable

Notes

• For greater material thicknesses: Cut 2-3 mm (1/16-7/64 inch) in each work step, then remove the chips


• A high-quality cutting oil should be used when sawing metals


• Exceptions: Do not use cutting oil for cast iron and use petroleum instead of oil for aluminium
