Application
Grinding metals presents a particular challenge for the abrasive. Metals are tough materials with a high level of hardness. Stainless steel and high-alloy steels in particular, known as "super alloys", are the most challenging. CS 570 fibre discs respond to this challenge with a hard and very tough abrasive grain consisting of zirconia alumina with a strong synthetic resin bond on a backing produced from vulcanised fibre. The CS 570 fibre disc has special properties for machining stainless steel and aluminium.
